PCI slot

The H8DAR-8 has one PCI-X 100 MHz expansion slot. A riser card is included

with the server: the CSE-RR1U-X riser ﬁ ts into the 100 MHz PCI-X slot to support a

standard size (full-height, full-length) PCI-X add-on card (either 100 or 66 MHz).

PCI card installation

Before installing a PCI add-on card, see step 1, above. Begin by swinging the

release tab on the for the PCI shield out to the left. Insert the PCI card into the

riser card, pushing down with your thumbs evenly on both sides of the card. Finish

by pushing the release tab back to its original (locked) position.
