CASSETTE TAPE RECORDER (TAPE) / PLAYBACK OF A
CASSETTE TAPE / RECORD CASSETTE TAPE / CONNECT
HEADPHONES / CLEANING AND CARE
CASSETTE TAPE RECORDER (TAPE)
• Select TAPE Mode using the function selector
switch.
• Push the Stop-key “
9 /
“ to open the
cassette tape compartment.
• Insert a cassette tape with the open side up.
The side that you would like to hear must point
towards the front.
• Close the cassette tape compartment.
PLAYBACK OF A CASSETTE TAPE
• Push the Start key
1
. The cassette tape will
be played back.
• You can interrupt playback by pushing the
Pause key
;
. Push the Pause key
;
once more
to continue playback of the cassette tape.
• Push the key Stop/Open
9 /
to end playback
of the cassette tape.
• Use the keys Fast Forward

or Rewind

to
fast forward or rewind the cassette tape. Push
the key Stop/Open
9 /
to end the winding
process.
• Use the Start key

to start playback of the
cassette tape.
• If one side of the cassette ends, the Start key
1
automatically releases.
• Push the Stop/Open key
9 /
to open the
cassette tape compartment, turn the cassette
over and start playback of the other side.
RECORD CASSETTE TAPE
• Insert a cassette tape and close the cassette
deck.
• It is possible to record titles from CD, MP3,
USB stick or radio to a cassette tape.
• Start the desired source medium (CD, MP3,
USB or Radio) as described above.
• To record, push the Record key
0
of the
cassette recorder. The cassetteʼs Start key is
automatically pressed with the Record key
0
.
The recorder begins recording.
NOTE:
Adjust the beginning of the recording first
pushing the Pause key

. First, push the Pause
key

and then the Record-key

. To start
recording, push the Pause key

one more time,
recording begins.
• Push the Pause key

to interrupt recording
or push the Stop/Open key

to stop
recording.
• Open the cassette compartment, remove
the cassette tape and close the cassette
compartment.
CONNECT HEADPHONES
• A set of headphones can be connected to the
device via the headphone connection.
• If headphones are connected to the
device, the loudspeakers will be turned off
automatically.
ATTENTION!
Prior to using or connecting headphones, be sure
to turn the volume down! Hearing excessively
loud music through headphones can damage
your sense of hearing.
CLEANING AND CARE
Attention:
Always disconnect the power plug from the
power outlet and allow the device to cool off
completely prior to cleaning.
• When cleaning the unit, do not submerge the
device, power cord and power plug in water
or other fluids. Clean these parts using a dry
cloth.
• In case of heavy soiling of the exterior casing,
the exterior of the unit can be carefully
wiped with a slightly damp cloth and must
then be carefully dried. Please be sure that
no moisture enters into the unit around the
function keys.
