5.4 HEPA FILTER CHANGE
Unhook the latches and remove the motor head assembly from the top of
the dust collector; pay attention not to break the power cable. Position the
assembly with the bottom side up. Unscrew the four bolts (pos.1) of the cap
(pos.2) that secure the HEPA filter to the motor head (pos.4). Remove the cap
and the sealing ring (pos.3). Remove the used filter and properly discard it.
Important: the used filer and debris must be disposed of using methods
which fully comply with local, environmental laws and regulations.
Mount the new Hepa filter on the bottom side of the motor head. Place
the sealing ring on the filter, then the cap and then screw the four bolts.
Install the motor head on top of the dust collector and lock the latches.

LONGOPAC® BAG
REPLACEMENT (CHANGING
BAGS)
V20X is equipped with a Longopac system for effective dust storage.
This is a 20 m long plastic tube that will be divided into plastic bags
using the zip ties attached to the machine.
Deactivate all vacuum motors by placing the power switches in the
OFF position. IMPORTANT: Disconnect the electrical plug from the
power source.
The collected dust accumulates in the cyclone until the machine is
switched off, when it drops through the bottom flap into the plastic
bag.
• Make sure that there is approximately 6-8 inches of an empty bag
located between the bottom of the dust container and the top of the
debris/waste.
• Install 2 zip ties, or cable ties, around the plastic bag: 1 located
above the top of the debris/waste, and a 2nd tie located
approximately 3-4 inches higher up on the bag). Both ties must be
securely tightened in order to prevent the opening of the bag and
possible spillage (Fig 5.4).
• Using a sharp knife or scissors, cut across the entire section of
plastic bag located between the 2 zip ties, or cable ties. Remove
and dispose of the bag section containing the dust and debris.
• Pull down on the bag until the end reaches the lower, bag-support
plate (Fig 5.5).
IMPORTANT: When disposing of bags containing debris, be sure to
use waste disposal containers and methods that fully comply with all
environmental laws and regulations that are applicable to your
specifi c country and location.
