will also keep blinking. (remainder of the irrigation
time computed as a function of [RUN TIME] and
[MIST CYCLE]). Then, [RUN TIME] 06min will start
decreasing until it reaches 02min. When 02min is
reached, the symbol
will disappear from the
screen and [RUN TIME] 02min will keep blinking.
After a 10min lapse, the symbol
will be displayed
again on the top right corner of the LCD, and the
value 02min will also blink. Then, [RUN TIME] 02min
will start decreasing until 00min is reached. When
00min is reached, the symbol
will disappear from
the screen and [RUN TIME] 00min. will cease blinking
and will take the initial programmed value for [RUN
TIME], 10min in this example.
7. The priority in regard to running the watering
programme is defined by the watering day settings:
Example: If [START] is set to 23:57hours and [RUN
TIME] exceeds 3min (WATERING TIME = 10min),
the programmer starts at 23:57hours and watering
commences. But, if after the current day, the next
day is a “non-watering” day (day with no rain drop
icon), when reaching 00:00hours the programmer
will switch off the irrigation (no matter how much
time is left; in this example there are 7 min left to
finish watering) as the programmer will detect a
change of day and the new day is a “non-watering”
day (day with no rain drop icon). In this example, the
watering operation will be completed 100% in the
day of the week configured as a watering day (day
of the week with the rain drop icon) that same day
and next day.
8. When PROGRAMMED WATERING is running,
the only operation allowed by the programmer,
as stated above (in section (k)), is to switch off
watering; specifically by pressing Key C. In this way,
PROGRAMMED WATERING will be cancelled and
all programmed data will be displayed on the initial
screen. The programmer does not allow any other
simultaneous configuration.
9. When [CYCLE TIME] runs out, [START] will be
automatically reset for the next cycle.
D. CONFIGURATION EXAMPLE:
Example to program one watering a day: [CYCLE TIME]
24 HR. Settings for one watering a day:
• [TIME] = 13:00 hours
• [START] = 13:30 hours
• [RUN TIME] = 30 minutes
• [MIST CYCLE] = 10 minutes
• [CYCLE TIME] = 24 hours
• WATERING DAYS = MO (Monday) will be marked
with a black line and will show the rain drop icon
next to it. The black line indicates that the current
day is MO (Monday) and the rain drop indicates
that this day is a “watering day”.
• Setting [ON/OFF]. If [ON] is selected, all
programmes will run (will be carried out), whereas
if [OFF] is selected, the programmes will be saved
(will not be carried out). In this example, the
programmer must be set to [ON].
Watering will start at 13:00 hours. The duration of the
irrigation intervals will be:
• 10 min irrigation and 10 min stop
• 10 min irrigation and 10 min stop
• 10min irrigation and permanent stop
As the WATERING TIME[RUN TIME] has been 30
minutes and the [MIST CYCLE] has been 20 minutes,
the exact duration of the complete watering cycle has
been 50 minutes. But, as previously stated (See point (f)),
the programmer can only program the [CYCLE TIME] in
whole hours or whole days. Then, the programmer will
automatically assign by default a [CYCLE TIME] of 1 HR.,
which means that watering starts again at 14:30hours,
15:30 hours, 16:30 hours…. Thus watering will be
repeated every hour.
But, as in the example, we want a [CYCLE TIME] = 24
hours, said section will be modified until a [CYCLE TIME]
of 24 hours is displayed on the screen. Therefore, this
means that the programmer will be activated once a
day; Attention: Provided the day of the week has been
assigned as a watering day (day with the rain drop icon).
