Installing the cable plug and couplers
Each module comes with a cable plug and socket, cover cap and a
10m connection cable for electrical connection (
). Pic. 4.1
The connectors are VDE and GL approved for direct current voltage
(DC) up to 50V/16A.
First, place the cover caps onto the cable ends.
Screw the cable plug (male) to the 40cm long connection cable of
the module and the socket to the supply line.
The backs of plug and socket show the earthing symbol and the
figure 1.
Connect "-", blue (negative) to the terminal with

To prevent reverse polarity attach the plug and socket element

and check for correct polarity. Are the gland colours for Pic. 4.3)
each contact on either side the same?
The other end of the supply line can now be connected to the charge
controller.
The coupler at the end of the supply line can be sealed with the
cover cap to prevent plug corrosion (

optionally be supplied with an angled housing and flange socket

IMPORTANT!
When plugging in the couplers make sure that the contacts and O-
ring seals are clean. Thoroughly remove any sand and dirt to ensure
permanent sealing.
Combination with other solar modules:
SunWare solar modules can easily be combined with each other.
Combination with charge controllers:
Add a SunWare FOX solar charge controller to your SunWare solar
module for a complete solar energy system.
All SunWare solar modules do not require a MPPT controller!
