CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The outside of the Sunshower is the only part of the product that users should
clean.
• The Sunshower may only be cleaned by hand.
• Never use a high-pressure cleaner to clean the Sunshower.
• Do not clean the Sunshower when it is on.
Use mild detergents to clean the Sunshower. A special maintenance pack is
available too. It consists of a mild cleaner and a protector, which protects the
Sunshower against limescale.
REPLACING THE LAMPS
The infrared lamps in module 1 (1000 W) and module 2 of the Sunshower DUO
(500 W) have a long lifespan of 2,000 hours and will deteriorate very little in
performance during this time. These lamps should only be replaced when they
have stopped working.
GUARANTEE & SERVICE
The Sunshower DUO is supplied with a two-year warranty. This warranty will
be honoured if the Sunshower DUO is installed correctly and you are able
to produce your proof of purchase. Receive six months extra warranty by
registering your Sunshower online on www.sunshower.nl/garantie.
Sunshower is only liable for product and design defects. Please note that
Sunshower cannot be held liable for the consequences of careless use of the
product or for the consequences ensuing from the violation of local regulations.
The warranty does not cover any damage caused to the Sunshower DUO when
the instructions provided in the user manual are not observed. We will not
accept liability for material damage or personal injury that are the result of
incompetent use or failure to observe the safety instructions. The warranty will
not cover any of the situations outlined above.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The Sunshower is not responding
• Press the START/STOP button on module 1 of the Sunshower DUO for about
1 second; the Sunshower will not respond if the button is not pressed in
long enough.
• The Sunshower is still cooling down. The START/STOP button of module 1 of
the Sunshower DUO will blink white during the cooling process.
• Check the meter cupboard to make sure that the fuse has not blown and
that the main switch is ON.
The Sunshower stops working during an infrared session
• The electronics in the Sunshower DUO can be sensitive to dips in the mains
voltage (that last longer than 10 ms), causing the Sunshower DUO to stop
working during an infrared session. Allow the Sunshower to cool down for
10 minutes and then start a new session.
• One of the Sunshower DUO modules has overheated and has cut out
automatically. Check that the ventilation openings are not blocked.
