RECESSED HOUSINGS
NOTE:
Green ground wire must be securely installed
to the housing. Three connection methods shown below.
1.
For ground connection from LED module to housing,
use provided green ground wire.
2.
Connect other end of green ground wire to housing.
● Use supplied #8 screw in existing hole (Fig. 9).

EDISON SCREWBASE RECESSED
HOUSINGS
NOTE:
Confirm luminiare is compatible with DSK6
module series. A listing of the most common housings is
provided in the HOUSINGS section of these instructions.
1.
Remove mounting bracket and plate from inside
existing recessed housing (if installed).
1a.
Ensure bottom edge of housing is flush with ceiling
Adjust height if necessary to ensure a tight finish.
2.
Release socket from the housing plate (if installed).
3.
Screw Edison base adapter into existing Edison base
socket in housing (Fig. 10).
4.
Install connector "I" (supplied) onto stripped wire
ends of supply wire adapter (Fig 11a). Be sure to
align black wire with black strip on connector. Push
wires into connector until firmly seated (Fig. 11b). Pull
lightly on wires to confirm they are locked into the
connector.
5.
Plug orange connector on DSK6 LED module series
into the orange connector on supply wire adapter
(Fig. 12).
6.
Squeeze the torsion springs together as shown and
install into torsion spring brackets inside recessed
housing (Fig. 13 and 14).
7.
Carefully route wires into fixture and push LED
module up flush to ceiling surface.
REPLACING DSK6
Recessed Housing
1.
With fingertips, pull down firmly on trim ring until
module is .removed from the housing.
2.
Squeeze torsion springs together to remove LED
module.
3.
Disconnect LED module wiring from recessed
housing. (LED connector).
Electrical Junction Box
1.
Rotate trim ring counter clockwise and then lower
module.
2.
Disconnect wiring.
