c) Replace screws and tighten.

Important Note:

If there is any difficulty

in re-attaching the screws, try using a
probe to help line up the holes.

S. SEAT DEPTH (SEAT FRAME

AND CONTOUR SEATS ONLY)

The seat depth can be adjusted in one inch
increments.

1. Seat Frame Depth Adjustment

a) To adjust, remove the two bolts (A) from

each side of the backrest pivot plate.

b) Reposition the backrest to the desired

position.

c) Replace and retighten bolts on each

side of the backrest pivot plate.

2. Contour Seat Depth Adjustment

a) Remove bolts (B) on the seat hingeplate.
b) Adjust the set back to desired position.
c) Refasten bolts (B) in appropriate location.

T. CHECK-OUT

Once the wheelchair is assembled and
adjusted, it should roll smoothly and easily.
All accessories should also perform smoothly.

After the wheelchair has been set up be
sure the chair performs to your specified operational settings (see pages 36-
39). If the chair does not perform to specifications, turn the wheelchair OFF
immediately and reprogram operational specifications using the QTRONIX
Programming Pad.

Repeat this procedure until the wheelchair performs to specifications before
attempting active use of the wheelchair.

If you have any problems, follow these procedures:

1. Review the Set-up, Adjustment & Use section and Operating Guide

to make sure chair was properly prepared.

2. If your problem persists, contact your authorized supplier. If you still

have a problem after contacting your authorized supplier, contact
Sunrise customer service. See the introduction page for details on
how to contact your authorized supplier or Sunrise customer service.

P. SEAT REMOVAL (CONTOUR &

HIGHBACK CONTOUR SEATS)

1.

Remove Seat

a) Remove safety lock-out pin (A).
b) Pull down both the right and left

release buttons.

c) Flip seat back and remove.

2.

Replace Seat

a) Position rear of seat on docking

mount.

b) Rotate seat forward until latches lock

the seat in place.

c) Replace the safety lock-out pin under

the left release lever.

Always replace the safety lock-out pin to
prevent inadvertent release of the seat.

Q. SHROUD REMOVAL

The plastic protective shroud can be
removed for adjustment or servicing.

1.

Remove Shroud

a) Remove deck lid (B). Deck lid is held

by two pieces of Velcro and one piece
of Poly Lock (plastic locking Velcro).

b) Remove four (4) quarter-turn fasteners

(C) by turning them 1/4 turn and
removing.

c) Lift shroud from a central point.

2.

Replace Shroud

a) Replace shroud by repositioning shroud

on base frame and align the holes with
the frame fasteners.

b) Secure 1/4 turn fasteners.
c) Install deck lid and press firmly with

thumb at D using support with your
forefingers in pocketed area under lid.

R. PARAPAK SEAT SLING (SEAT

FRAME)

The seat sling tension can be adjusted
through use of the VELCRO

®

retaining

material beneath the seat.

1. Adjustment

a) Remove the screws retaining the left

side seat sling.

b) Readjust VELCRO

®

style material to

increase the tension in the seat sling.
