Place the left and right Rail Flashing (#13 & 14) between purlin and R‐Panels, (see picture for orientation). 
a.

 

If insulation is present, flashing should be installed between the insulation and purlin.

Remove any existing adhesive from the interface leg on the existing R‐panels, then place new butyl tape on 
mating surface (

Do not

 remove paper liner at this point). 

 

 

7.

 

Dry fit the left and right Rail (#1 & 2), the end of the Rail with the vertical flange should be on the eave side 
(see picture for orientation).  End of the Rail needs to be 23” from the purlin, make a mark. 

 

 

8.

 

Apply butyl tape across the end of the rail, remove paper liner.
