SBP4K8 Battery Testing
Battery Connection
To test whether the battery is connected to your system properly, ensure the
DC
power cables
are firmly connected to the inverter terminals.
Make sure the
data cables
(labelled as CANH and CANL) are connected at
CANH
and
CANL
port of the inverter. Pull the data cables gently to ensure the cables are
placed at the CANH and CANL slot of the inverter (Figure 1).

Please ensure the ‘
Battery Type
’ and ‘
Battery Quantity
’ has been entered correctly
on the inverter menu. To set up the Battery on the inverter menu, firstly

inverter. Now navigate to
Main Menu
→ Select
Settings
→ Enter Password

Select
Battery Type and Battery Quantity
(Figure 2).

Please power on the inverter, the LCD screen on the inverter should now display the
battery as connected (Figure 3, left). If the battery is not connected properly the LCD
screen will display ‘
--
’ on the battery side (Figure 3, right).
