Step 10 a.

Remove the sump tube (173). First
loosen the nut on the compression
fitting (944C) with a wrench.

NOTE:

If dry sump design, unit will

not have an internal lube pump and
sump tube.

Step 10 b.

Then hand spin the nut free. Pull the
sump tube (173) out of the
compression fitting (944C).

Step

Remove compression fitting (944C).
Loosen the fitting with a wrench.
