In order to prevent major damage being caused by overheating in the parts of the
dishwasher surrounding the heating element, there is a micro-switch in the hydraulic
circuit, in electrical series with the heating element, so if the water does not recirculate
through the element (i.e. cooling), the micro switch will not be not activated and the
element will not heat up.
If any malfunction of this type should occur, the dishwasher will stop and the buzzer
will sound as follows.
8 beeps Pause 7 sec. 8 beeps pause 7 sec………and so on, succes-
sively.
This indicates error code F8.

Important:
It can be observed from
the electrical diagram that the pressure micro
switch has 3 wires. There is no point in brid-
ging contacts 1 and 3 because it is contact nº
2 which is designed to detect the error code
when the micro switch connection fails.
If you wish to check that there are no electrical
problems with the micro switch, release the
3 wires, noting their position, and start up the
dishwasher.
Then check the continuity.
