Calibration
Touch screen input is calibrated before shipping. If re-calibration is necessary please use
PenMount (PM) application (in the system tray) to calibrate the interface using the stylus
or USB mouse.
NOTE: For Microsoft Windows CE calibration tools are found in “Stylus application” in the
control panel.
Wireless Networking
Wireless LAN
The SUMO ST360 is delivered with an embedded 802.11a/b/g WLAN adapter as
standard this is coupled with a custom integrated antenna. The embedded WLAN is
supplemented with a user accessible PCMCIA slot for other WLAN/peripherals.

The SUMO ST360 should be able to detect all 802.11x access points for user
selection and connection.

SSID and WEP parameters on the SUMO ST360 and the access point have to match.
SSID is case sensitive and it is recommended that WEP is enabled for secure access.

When WEP is enabled you may need to consult your network administrator or refer to
the network equipment documentation. This is to ensure associated settings such as
Authentication mode are correct.

Refer to the access point documentation to setup 802.11 x accesses.
Bluetooth
The SUMO ST360 features an integrated Bluetooth adapter that uses the Microsoft
Windows Bluetooth protocol. You can access the configuration application from the
System tray or the Control panel under Microsoft Windows XP. Under Microsoft Windows
CE configuration is accessed via the Control panel, follow the instructions and options in
these utilities to attain Bluetooth connectivity.
NOTE: Bluetooth devices that are not compatible with Microsoft Windows Bluetooth
protocol may not work on the SUMO ST360.
