Installing the Anti-Tip Brackets 

Included with this unit is a pair of anti-tip brackets to 

help prevent the unit from moving inside the 

countertop when opening the drawer.   

Place the provided brackets in front of the unit’s 

ventilation grille as shown the figure. Then, secure 

the brackets to both walls and the unit using the 

included screws. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

NOTE:

 If the unit is installed freestanding, please 

place the brackets in front of the unit’s ventilation 

grille and secure the brackets to the surface it is 

being used on by the included screws.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Full Overlay Panel Installation Instructions 

These models are designed for field-installed overlay panels. The overlay panels cover the stainless 

steel to give a built-in appearance. The overlay panel and appropriate hardware are not included 

with the unit and the end user needs to prepare them themselves. Please follow the instructions 

below for installation: 

 

The FF1DSS24 model includes a pre-installed 

stainless-steel panel, which must be removed 

before installing your own custom overlay panel. 

Please follow the instructions below:

 

A.  Remove the screws securing the panel (2) to 

the brackets (6). There should be four brackets 

on the left and right sides of the drawer.  

B.  Remove  all  the  screws  (4)  and  washers  (3) 

attaching the stainless-steel handle (1) from the 

stainless-steel drawer panel (2). 

C.  Carefully set the stainless-steel panel on a soft 

or padded cloth to avoid damaging the panel. 

D.  If  you  are  replacing  the  stainless-steel  panel
