The SMX-12A2x Series cameras have the Gigabit Ethernet interface which requires 
Gigabit Ethernet Adapter. 

To determine whether your computer has a Gigabit Ethernet Adapter and whether 
it works properly:

Open the 

Device Manager

 window.

In the 

Device Manager

 tree, find and expand the

 Network Adapters

 item: 

If your computer has 

Gigabit Ethernet Adapter
