2.3.1 s
trOke Adjustment
Bring stroke into starting position pneumatically (connec-
tion see section 2.2.3) or by hand and remove cover.

OArse Adjustment
Loosen the ball tensioning screw (1). Turn the adjusting
pin with screw inwards by 90°and then move it axially until
it locks into the desired position (2). The distance between
the locking mechanisms amounts to 10 mm (3). Turn back
the adjusting pin with screw outwards by 90° (into the
starting position) and tighten the ball tension screw (1).
X: Total stroke max. 80 mm. Y: Rapid travel. Z: Working
stroke (dependent on the respective cushioning cylinder).
S: Safety spacing. The path of the fast approach stroke
(Y) (uncushioned part of the stroke) is adjusted by moving
the cushioning cylinder. Use a caliper gage or scale gage
as an adjusting aid.

ine Adjustment
To achieve the precise dimension X (1), loosen the screw
2) and rotate the stop pin to the precise dimension (3).
One revolution corresponds to a stroke length adjustment
of 0.5 mm. Ten markings have been applied along the
perimeter of the stop pin, i.e., 0.05 mm per marking. The
fine adjustment range amounts to 10 mm. After fine ad-
justment, tighten the screw (2).
2.3.2 A
dVAnce speed
In order for the advance speed to be adjusted the air sup-
ply lines have to be connected.
Turn regulating valve on braking cylinder to adjust the
working stroke speed. The rapid travel speed (forward
and backward) can be adjusted by means of adjustable
check valves in the pneumatic lines. Please refer to sec-
tion 2.2.3.
