 Infant Restraint System Attachment Instructions

24.1

Refer to the Pedi–Mate

t

 users manual for the manufacturer’s recommendations for the use, operation and

care of the Pedi–Mate

t

 Infant Restraint System.

Securing the Pedi–Mate

t

 to the cot

1.

Remove any restraints already attached to the cot.

2.

Raise the cot backrest to the full upright position.

3.

Position the Pedi–Mate

t

 pad flat on the backrest with the black backrest straps out (see figure 1).

Wrap the straps around the backrest and insert the ends of the straps through the brackets.  Securely
fasten the buckle (see figure 2).

WARNING

To avoid accidental release of the Pedi–Mate

, and possible injury to the infant, ensure the buckle is located

away from obstructions on the cot or head end storage pouch.
