8.4.2 Clutches in dry operation
The grooved ball bearings (8) installed are those listed in the table that are provided with a grease filling. Due to
the different operating conditions, it is not possible to predetermine the precise lubrication intervals and service
life of the grease and grooved ball bearings. We therefore recommend a functional check in the frame of the
appropriate maintenance intervals. When using the max. permissible speed the grooved ball bearings must be
removed, sluiced out and refilled with a new grease filling after approx. 5000 hrs running time, see section 8.4.4.
This regreasing should occur after 3 years at the latest. The listed grease or an equivalent from another manu-
facturer should be used, see section 6.3.6.

ing (8).
NOTE
Abnormal noise generation indicates damage
to the grooved ball bearing.
NOTICE
Operating safety is compromised by worn
grooved ball bearings
Defective grooved ball bearings must be re-
placed immediately.
► In accordance with the operating condi-
tions, regrease the grooved ball bearing
after approx. 5000 hrs running time or af-
ter 3 years at the latest, see section 8.4.2.

Removal of the
clutch 1. Disconnect the power supply.
2. The clutch is dismantled in the reverse order of mounting, see section 6.4.
Removal of the
snap rings,
spacer rings 1. Remove the snap rings (13, 14).
2. Remove the spacer rings (9, 10).
