Setting the service interval
The controller will display
DUE
You should set the period before the next service is due, this can be set
anywhere between 1 day and 450 days. In most cases this should be set
at 365 days unless there is a specific requirement for any other timescale.
Setting the service notification period
The controller will display
ALAR
This is the number of days notice that the user will get of the servicing
being due, this can be set between 0 and 31, 0 being the day that the
service is due, 31 being 31 days before the service is due. When the user
is being notified of the service being due the controller will display “
SER
”,
the number of days until the service is due, and the area code and phone
number if the setting for phone number is enabled.
Setting service overdue restrictions
The controller will display
TYPE
There are 3 different settings that will vary the type of restriction on the
controller until the servicing has been completed.
•
SETTING 0
- No restrictions on the heating system after the service
due date has passed.
•
SETTING 1
- The schedule is disabled and the controller can only be
run in manual mode for a maximum of 1 hour after the service due
date has passed.
•
SETTING 2
- The controller is completely disabled after the service
due date has passed.
Changing the service settings code
The controller will display
NEW
Here you can change the code required to gain access to the service menu.
It is recommended you change this from the default code and give the new
code to Landlord/Building Owner. If the code is lost you will need to reset
the controller to factory settings or submit a request to Strom for a copy
of the master code. We regret that Strom can only give the code out to
verified installers, or verified landlords.
