E. In order to check the motor, the jumpers and
leads must first be disassembled from the
terminal plate.
In order to test the single motor coils, the
continuity tester must be applied to one coil
section at a time.
The following must be measured separately :
U1-U2
V1-V2
W1-W2
All the coils must have the same resistance
(less than 100 ohms) in between 20%. If the
metered values are not equal, the motor must
be changed.
After the measurement process, all the bolts
must be tightened. If there are loose bolts or a
faulty power connection, the motor consumes
too much power and gets damaged.
