6.7 Dispensing hot water
6.7.1
Dispensing hot water
Danger of scalding. Do not di-
rect hot water towards hands or
other parts of the body. Do not
touch the hot water nozzle with bare
hands; use the appropriate PPE.

spout.

• Wait for the water to finish dispensing.

To stop the water dispensing ahead of

To program the hot water doses, proceed as follows:

6.8 Dispensing with the automatic
steam wand
6.8.1
Tips regarding its use
• Only froth the amount of milk that you intend to use; once
heated, the milk will have to be completely poured out of
the jug and cannot be reheated.
•
The automatic steam wand only guarantees an accuracy
of ± 3°C between the set temperature and the actual milk
temperature, if the starting milk temperature is 4°C.
•
As the steam automatically stops dispensing when the set
milk temperature is reached, only fill the jug half way in
order to prevent the milk froth from spilling out.
•
Use a suitably-sized jug for the amount of milk that re-
quires frothing (approx. 200 ml is recommended) and
make sure that it is circular and not conical (see the im-
age).
6.8.2
Dispensing
Do not direct the steam towards hands or other
parts of the body. Do not touch the steam nozzles
with bare hands; use the appropriate PPE.
Before using steam to heat and froth the milk, a
dry dispensing run must be completed by pressing
one of the selection buttons to let out several short
spurts of air, until all the condensation water has been re-
leased. To stop dispensing, press the same button again.
•
Immerse the automatic steam wand nozzle tips into the
milk.
