Maintenance
This menu enables the firmware to be managed as well as NMT applications and the AivX-391NMT reset.
1) Information about the Versions
- Current Firmware version and Kernel used
- NMT applications package version
2) Checking Firmware Updates
There are two ways of updating the AivX-391NMT’s firmware:
a) Direct update via the Internet.
1 – Select the Menus Setup  Maintenance  Check for firmware updates,
2 – Online check and comparison of the versions,
3 – If there is a new version, automatic download and caching of new Firmware,
4 – Secured update and CRC file check
5 – Wait for the update to be completed from ‘0 to 100%’, without touching the product.
Under no circumstances turn off the machine for risk of irreversible damage and loss of the
Guarantee.
6 – At the final stage, the NMT system will automatically reboot; your AivX-391NMT is ready.
b) Update by USB
Regularly check our internet site: www.storex.eu - “Download & Support” section to get the latest
information on the newest available updates for the AivX-391NMT.
1 – Download the update files from our site.
2 – Copy these 2 files to a USB device of your choice (Key / Disk etc):
‘xx-xx-xxxxxx-xx-STX-xxx-xxx.bin’ & ‘usbupdate.html’
3 – Connect the USB device to one of the two USB Host Ports of the AivX-391NMT,
4 – Check that it is well recognised with the following message being displayed: ‘USB Device connected’,
5 – Select ‘Source Media’ to go to the Main Menu,
6 – Select the USB device connected ‘USB_DRIVExxx’,
7 – On the media type selection page, select the 4th ‘File’ icon,
8 – Locate and select the file ‘usbupdate.html’, and press “Enter”,
9 - On opening the page, select the HTML link which will launch the Update process,
10 – Secured update and CRC file check
11 – Wait for the update to be completed from ‘0 à 100%’, without touching the product.
