15. Set the bypass valve to PRIME.
16. Turn ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
17. Clean the device filter. See section on cleaning the
device filter.
18. Fill unit with Pump Armor™ fluid. See section on sto-
rage.
Cleaning the device filter
The device filter prevents particles from accessing the
paint hose. After each use, remove and clean it to ensure
peak performance.
1. Carry out the pressure relief procedures.
2. Unscrew the Airless spray hose (A) from the sprayer.
3. Unscrew the screw connection thread (B) from the
device.
4. Remove the device filter (C).
11. Turn ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
NOTE: Step 12 is for returning paint in airless paint hose
to paint pail. A 15 m hose contains approximately 1 litre of
paint.
12. To recover paint in hose:
a. Hold gun firmly to the paint pail.
b. Point the gun into the paint pail.
c.Unlock gun trigger safety.
d. Pull and hold the gun trigger.
e. Set the bypass valve to SPRAY (horizontal).
f. Set the on/off switch to ON.
g. Press and hold the spray gun trigger until diluted
paint escapes from the spray gun.
13. While continuing to trigger gun, quickly move gun to
redirect spray into waste pail. Continue triggering gun
into waste pail until flushing fluid dispensed from gun is
relatively clear. In this process, make sure that there is
always enough flushing/cleaning agent in the pail. The
device must not run dry!
14. Stop triggering gun. Engage trigger lock.
