Important note:
Always observe the foam manufacturer‘s instructions as printed on the can.
Please observe the correct use of the ball valve adapter (BVA).
Risk of escaping foam due to improper use
of the ball valve adapter!
1. Commissioning / Gun operation
BVA closed
BVA open
Before screwing the can into the adapter, the BVA must be closed (= horizontal position).
Turn the adapter valve counter-clockwise until it is in the open position (= vertical).
When the expanding foam can is empty, close the ball valve (turn clockwise)
Hand-tighten the foam can on the adapter; when doing this make sure the can is vertical with the valve at the top to
avoid foam escaping when you screw the can on. The ball valve adapter is closed.
Shake the foam can thoroughly before use (follow the manufacturer‘s instructions and make sure the gun is fitted).
Open the ball valve adapter and the adjusting screw and start to use the foam immediately to completely fill the gun
with foam.
The foam gun is now ready for operation.
You can use the adjusting screw to adjust the volume of foam applied.
