G. Install Back Header (5). See Figure 13.
H. Line the firebox, using split firebrick and 1/4-
inch mortar joints. Install firebrick on the floor first,
with 1/4-inch of Stone Age Multi-Purpose Ready-
Mix or other high temperature mortar. See Figure
14.
I. Install firebrick on the back wall, with the brick
laid on edge. See Figure 15.
J. Install firebrick on the side walls, with the brick
laid on edge. The brick lay up on approximately 1/3
of the upper sidewall, and a notch should be cut in
the front brick on each side, to allow them to clear
the front lintel piece (to be installed later). See Fig-
ure 16.
K. Install the front lintel piece, (6). See Figure 17.
