14. MIC input(CH3/4, CH5/6)
This is where you connect your balanced XLR microphones
and Phantom powering (+48V) is available for these inputs.
Note: If you are using unbalanced microphones, do not use
+48V.
15. Left (Mono) Input
Accepts 1/4" TS (tip/sleeve) unbalanced sources at line level.
1/4" connector tip is "Hot", and sleeve is "Shield". Input is
routed to the left output bus. In the absence of a plug in the
right input (16), the left input signal is also provided to the
right input, so that the channel functions as a mono channel.
NOTE: Channel 7/8 1/4"phone jacks are use stereo input
only.
B. Stereo Input Channel 16. Right Input
Similar to the left input, any inputs to this connector are only
routed to the right output bus.
17. RCA Input
RCA input jacks for unbalance line level sterep signal source
from such as CD,SOUND MODULE,or MP3 player. But
channel 7/8 stereo inputs can not coupled use for both 1/4"
phone and RCA. Prioriy input has 1/4" phone input signals.
18. (CH 3/4, CH 5/6) 20dB Pad Switch
This switch controls the 20dB input attenuator for the Mic/
Line input.
19. (CH 7/8) Line Trim
Adjusts the line input gain to accep signals from -20dBu to
+14dBu.
20. High Equalization
Provides ±15dB of high boost/cut equalization control to
boost or cut high frequency signals 12kHz and above. Affects
both left and right channel input signals.
21. Low Equalization
Provides ±15dB of shelving equalization control to boost or
cut low frequency signals of 80Hz and below. Affects both left
and right channel input signals
22. Aux/Mon send
Adjusts the amount of mono-summed channel input signal
supplied to the AUX send output. Aux/Mon send is post-EQ
and pre-fader.
23. DSP/EFX Send (VX-804H is EFX send only)
Adjusts the amount of mono-summed channel input signal
supplied to EFX send OUTPUT and built in Digital effector.
24. Balance
When turned to the right, gradually attenuates the left channel
input signal. When turned to the left, gradually attenuates the
right channel input signal.
25. Stereo Channel Control
Provides continuously variable control of the stereo channel
output level to the left and right master outputs.
26. Listen (PFL)
Switches the channel signal to the headphones and control
room outputs for checking the channel signal. Takes the signal
after the EQ but before the Level control.
27. REC
Switches the channel poster fader signal to record out and
USB Outputs.
