Panel Descriptions
. Left Level / Mono Level
This control provides adjustment of signal to the
left main output connector, and serves as volume
controller one internal amplifier: the left amplifier
in Left+Right mode, or the main amplifier in
Main+Monitor mode.
. Phantom Power Indicator
Phantom power is provided for electronic
condenser microphones that may require such
power. This LED will illuminate when the
phantom power circuit has been engaged.
. Reverb/Aux 2
Reverb/Aux2 control varies the amount of
channel signal sent to the aux 2 master
control.
The signal is post EQ and the main channel
level control and is suitable for an effects
device.
This control also feeds the built-in reverb
system.
. Tape In PAN
This control feeds the left and right master
outputs as described in 8. above. It takes its
signal from the tape in level control(13).
. Reverb Level
This rotary control acts as master reverb
control to the internal reverberation circuit.
Its signal is derived from the individual
channel reverb/ aux 2 sends. The reverb can
be defeated by turning this control to the far
left or off position.
. Compression
Your MetroMix is equipped with a built in
automatic compressor/limiter which will reduce the
chances of amplifier clipping or destortion. An
LED will illuminte when the limiter circuitry is
effcetin the output signal.
. Power Switch
This controls the AC mains power to your
powered mixer. Power is on when this switch is
in the up position and is confirmed when the
power LED indicator is illuminated.
. Power Amp Routing
This switch changes the mode of operation from
Left+Right o Main+<MOnitor mode. There are two
graphic equalizers and power amplifiers on stereo
MertroMixers. In Left+Right mode, the upper
EQ/power amplifier derives its signal fromk the
left master control, and the lower EQ/power
amplifier from the right master control. In
Main+Monitor mode, the upper EQ/power amp
receives a summed L+R main signal, while the
lower power amp receives the Monitir sugnal.
