Renaming, adding or deleting a device
The original name of the air conditioner in the device list is “TAC_” and the last
6 numbers of the MAC address of the Wi-Fi module (see page 33 for more on
the MAC address). For example, if the MAC address is “B4:43:0D:E3:ED:03”,
the device name should be “TAC_E3ED03”.
To change the original name of the air conditioner, go to the device list and tap
and hold the appropriate list bar for a few seconds until a Save button appears.
Tap the name of the device and change it, then tap the Save button. After a few
seconds, “update successful” will appear, indicating the name was changed. (If
you do not want to save the name change, tap any blank space in the bar.)
Fig. WF18 below shows how to change the device name from “TAC_E3ED03”
to “Test”. You can also use this interface to add or delete a device (Fig. WF19).
