Setting the Timer to Turn More Than One Cooking Zone Off
1. If more than one heating zone use this function, the timer indicator will show the lowest time. E.g. zone 3
setting time of 10 minutes, zone 4 setting time of 5 minutes, the timer indicator shows “5”
Note:
The red dot next to power level indicator will fl ash.
(Set to 10 minutes)
(Set to 5 minutes)
2. When the cooking timer expires, the corresponding cooking zone will be switch off automatically.
Note:
a) The red dot next to the power level indicator will illuminate indicating that zone is selected.
b) If you want to change the time after the timer is set, you have to start from step 1.
Over-heat Protection
When excessive temperature is detected, the ceramic cooktop will switch off as a safety measure.
Automatic Shutdown
Another safety feature of the cooktop is automatic shutdown. This occurs whenever you forget to switch off a
cooking zone. The default shutdown times are shown in the table below:
