1. The Yellow and Black wires on the OBD-2 Adapter will not be used.
These wires can be shortened and the ends must be insulated.
2. Plug the OBD-2 adapter into the vehicles OBD port located on the
lower edge of the dash above the parking brake / clutch (1).
3. Route the wires behind the panel, across the lower dash towards the
radio opening. Secure the wires away from metal or moving parts.
4. Feed the 2-pin plug up to the radio opening where it will be connected
to the RP4.2-TY11 harness.

The OBD-2 Adapter provides vehicle data for the radio to operate properly. The
adapter can be unplugged for service access to the OBD-2 port. If the OBD-2
port is being used by another accessory, the CAN wires can be professionally
soldered behind the port and the adapter eliminated.
