Remaining ready for operation

Regeneration emergency off switch

DANGER

There is a risk of ﬁre if smoke is

emitted!
If smoke is emitted during regene-

ration, this may be caused by a ﬁre.

The diesel supply is cut off and re-

generation is interrupted when the

emergency off switch (1) is pressed.
– If smoke is emitted, press the

emergency off switch immediately.

Regenerating the particle ﬁlter

– Park in a suitable parking space.

DANGER

Risk of ﬁre!
The parking space must not be in an

area containing hazardous materials

or in a hall, because hot combustion

gases are produced from the exhaust

pipe during regeneration.

NOTE

Combustion may cause bad odours if fuel

containing sulphur was used for operating the

engine.

NOTE

It is not possible to start the engine during

regeneration.

The regeneration must be started manually

with the engine switched off and the ignition

switched on.
A safety circuit prevents regeneration when

the engine is running as the particle ﬁlter

system might be destroyed.
– Switch off the engine and place the key

switch in position "I".
