Fit the screws (arrows) and
tighten them down only
moderately.

Before tightening the screws down
firmly, the engine must be centred in
relation to the sprocket cover and
guide bar.

217RA106 TG

Unscrew the nut (arrow) and
remove the machine from the
assembly stand.

– Fit the guide bar.

217RA357 TG

Guide the peg (arrow) into the
hole and fit the sprocket cover.

217RA021 TG

The pin (1) must be lined up with
the hole (arrow) when fitting the
sprocket cover.

217RA352 TG

Tighten down the nut (arrow) and
secure the sprocket cover (1).

– Now tighten down the screws

securing the engine.

217RA351 TG

– Tightening torques,

3.5

– Remove the sprocket cover

again.

– Mount the machine on the

assembly stand again and
continue with the installation
procedure.

Push the manifold (1) onto the
intake stub.

– Coat the manifold with STIHL

Press Fluid,

The tab (arrow) must point towards
the saw chain.

Press in the supporting plate (1).
