Mounting the Gearbox
:
Remove both sweeping
attachments – see “Replacing the
Sweeping Attachments”.
:
Push the sleeve (

) onto the drive
tube (

) as far as stop.
:
Loosen the clamp screws (

).
:
Push the gearbox (

) onto the drive
tube (
3
) and engage it by turning it
back and forth.
Aligning the Gearbox
:
Line up the gearbox on the drive
shaft so that the distance between
the horizontal axles (

) and the
deflector is the same at both sides.
:
Tighten down the clamp screws
firmly
.
It must not be possible to rotate the
gearbox on the drive tube.
:
Mount the two sweeping
attachments – see chapter on
“Replacing the Sweeping
Attachments”.
Position of Loop Handle
:
Fit the loop handle (
1
) on the drive
tube approx. 8“ / (20 cm) (

forward of the control handle (

).
:
Make sure that any parts that are
already fitted, ie. the spacer sleeve*
(
3
) and carrying eye* (
4
), are
between
the loop handle and
control handle.
