Removing the flywheel:

- Remove the clutch -

•

Screw locking screw (1) 4170
893 1200 into cylinder as far as
stop.

•

Unscrew the flywheel nut.

•

Attach puller (1) 4119 890 4501
to flywheel with M6x25 or
M8x25 screws (2).

•

Use strap wrench to hold
flywheel steady and pull it off.

Inspect the flywheel (1) and
magnet poles (2) for cracks or ot-
her damage. If you find any
damage, install a new flywheel.

Installing the flywheel:

Important: Clean the stub of the
crankshaft and the flywheel hub
bore with a standard commercial,
solvent-based degreasant which
contains no chlorinated or
halogenated hydrocarbons

Check correct position of key.

•

Fit flywheel in position, screw
on the nut and tighten it down
to 15 Nm.

- Remove locking screw from cylin-

der.

- Fit and tighten down the spark

plug.

- Install the clutch -
