Note
For every appliance fault, output X2.10 issues a 230 V
signal.
In the case of temporary faults, the output switches the
signal through for a specific time.
In the case of faults that result in a permanent appliance
shutdown, the output switches through permanently.
10.7 Fitting the thermal insulation

After making the hydraulic and electrical connections, seal
the knock-out between the heat pump and the function mod-
ule with the thermal insulation mat provided.

Affix the thermal insulation section over the pump head as
shown in the diagram.

Close the flaps and secure the lever with the locking screw to
prevent unauthorised opening of the function module.
10.9 Connecting the air hoses
Note
In the case of heat pumps installed indoors, if a blower
door test to EN 13829 is to be carried out, apply Proce-
dure B (checking the building envelope). This involves
closing or sealing off all apertures which are purposely
provided in the building envelope before the air hoses
are installed.

Seal off the wall outlets for the blower door test.
Note
Air hoses guide the intake air to the appliance and route
the discharge air from the appliance to the outside. These
air hoses are highly flexible, thermally insulated and are
self-extinguishing in case of fire.

Connect the air hoses to the function module using the wing
nuts contained in the pack.

Use rawl plugs and screws that are suitable for the wall
structure to attach the air hoses.
