Elektroanschluß
(Abb. 4)
- Die Phase an die Klemme "L" anschlies-
sen.
- Den Nulleiter an die Klemme "N" an-
schließen.
- Den Schutzleiter (Erdung) an die mit
dem Symbol gekennzeichnete
Klemme anschließen.
- Nach dem Lösen der beiden Schrauben
(Pos. 9) am Scharnier den Infrarot-
Quarzstrahler bis zum Anschlag nach
oben schwenken und die Schrauben am
Scharnier festdrehen.
- Klemmenabdeckung (Abb. 3, Pos. 12)
einsetzen und festschrauben.
Ausrichtung
- Beide Schrauben (Pos. 9) am Scharnier
lösen.
- Das Gerät in die gewünschte Stellung
neigen. Schwenkwinkel 20° bis 40°
(siehe Abb. 3).
- Beide Schrauben (Pos. 9) am Scharnier
festdrehen.
- Stromkreis wieder einschalten (Siche-
rung).
- Ihr Gerät ist nun betriebsbereit.

Bedienung
(Abb. 5)
Die Bedienung des Stiebel Eltron Infrarot-
Quarzstrahlers erfolgt durch ein- bzw.
mehrmaliges Ziehen an der Zugschnur.
Hierbei entsprechen die in der Anzeige
sichtbaren Zahlen:
Anzeige "0"
(IW 12, IW 20)
Steht die Anzeige auf "0", ist das Gerät
ausgeschaltet.
Anzeige "1"
(IW 12, IW 20)
Das Gerät wird eingeschaltet. Der IW 12
mit einer Heizleistung von 1200 W, der
IW 20 von 800 W.
Anzeige "2"
(IW 20)
Das Gerät wird umgeschaltet auf eine
Heizleistung von 1200 W.
Anzeige "3"
(IW 20)
Das Gerät wird umgeschaltet auf eine
Heizleistung von 2000 W.
Wärmeabstrahlung
Den Infrarot-Quarzstrahler nicht
abdecken. Es besteht Brandgefahr!
Schutzgitter während des Betriebes nicht
berühren!
Das Schutzgitter ist auch nach dem
Ausschalten noch heiß!
Electrical connections
(Fig. 4)
- Connect the live wire to terminal „L“.
- Connect the neutral wire to terminal
„N“.
- Connect the earth wire to the terminal
with the symbol .
- After loosening both screws (item 9) in
the hinge, swing the Stiebel Eltron infra-
red quartz heater upwards as far as
possible and tighten the screws in the
hinge.
- Insert terminal cover (Fig. 3, item 12)
and screw into place.
Aligning
- Loosen both screws (item 9) in the
hinge.
- Incline the infra-red quartz heater to
the required position. Pivoting angle 20°
to 40° (see Fig. 3).
- Tighten both screws (item 9) in the
hinge.
- Switch on power circuit again (fuse
protection).
- Your Stiebel Eltron infra-red quartz
heater is now ready for use.

Operation
The Stiebel Eltron infra-red quartz-heaters
are operated by pulling the cord once or
several times.
Display "0"
(IW 12, IW 20)
If a "0" is shown in the display, the device
is switched off.
Display "1"
(IW 12, IW 20)
The device is switched on.
IW 12: 1200 W
IW 20: 800 W
Display "2"
(IW 20)
The device is switched over to 1200 W.
Display "3"
(IW 20)
The device is switched over to 2000 W.
Heat radiation
Do not cover the infra-red quartz heater
due to fire risks!
Do not touch the safety grid during
operation!
Grid remains hot even after switching
off!

Raccordement électrique
(Fig. 4)
- Raccordez la phase à la borne “L“.
- Raccordez le neutre à la borne "N“.
- Raccordez la terre à la borne avec le
symbole .
- Après avoir désserré les deux vis (pos.9)
à la charnière, tournez le radiateur à
rayons infra-rouge vers le haut jusqu'à la
butée et vissez les vis à la charnière.
- Replacez le couvercle du bornier
(Fig. 3, pos.12) et revissez-le.
Positionnement
- Desserrez les deux vis (pos.9) à la
charnière.
- Mettez le radiateur dans la position
désirée. Angle de rotation 20° à 40°
(voir Fig. 3).
- Vissez les deux vis (pos. 9) à la
charnière.
- Remettez le circuit électrique en
marche (fusibles)
- Votre radiateur à quartz à rayons infra-
rouge est prêt à l’emploi.

Utilisation
La mise en marche du radiateur à quartz à
rayons infra-rouge se fait par traction sur le
cordon.
Les différentes positions s'affichent sur
l'indicateur comme suit:
Indication "0"
(IW 12, IW 20)
Appareil à l'arrêt.
Indication "1"
(IW 12, IW 20)
L'appareil est en fonction.
IW 12 fonctionne avec 1200 W
IW 20 fonctionne avec 800 W
Indication "2"
(IW 20)
L'appareil passe à une puissance de
1200 W.
Indication "3"
(IW 20)
L'appareil passe à une puissance de
2000 W.
Radiation de chaleur
Ne pas recouvrir le radiateur . Il y a
danger d'incendie. Ne touchez pas à la
grille de protection car celle-ci est
encore chaude même après avoir éteint
le radiateur !
