3.  Appliance descrip-

tion

The appliance is a wall mounted con-

vection heater.
The air is heated in the appliance by 

a heating element and expelled via 

natural convection through the air 

discharge at the top. Cool indoor air 

is drawn in through apertures on the 

underside of the appliance.
The appliance is equipped with a 

temperature controller which keeps 

the set room temperature constant 

through periodic reheating.
The appliance has a high limit safety 

cut-out that shuts it down if it over-

heats.

Insert the power plug into a sui-

table socket.

4.3  Selecting the room tem-

perature

The room temperature can be varia-

bly adjusted between 5 °C and 35 °C.

Turn the temperature selector 

fully clockwise.

f

When the room temperature re-

aches a level that feels pleasant 

to you, turn the temperature 

selector back until the heating 

indicator goes off.

The room temperature is set.  The 

temperature controller switches the 

appliance on again automatically 

when the set room temperature is 

undershot. The set room tempera-

ture is kept constant.

Turn the temperature selector to 

the 

 position.

The temperature controller switches 

the appliance on automatically if the 

frost protection temperature (see 

chapter „Specification / Data table“) 

is undershot.

5.  Cleaning, care and 

maintenance

 Material losses

 -Never spray cleaning spray 

into the air slot.

 -Ensure that no moisture can enter 

the appliance.

If a pale brownish discolouration 

appears on the appliance casing, 

wipe it off with a damp cloth.

 

-

Clean the appliance when cold 

with ordinary cleaning products. 

Avoid abrasive or corrosive clea-

ning products.

your qualified contractor. To facilitate 

and speed up your request, provide

Only a qualified contractor should 

carry out installation, commissio-

ning, maintenance and repair of the 

appliance.

7.1  General safety instruc-

tions

We guarantee trouble-free function 

and operational reliability only if 

original accessories and spare parts 

intended for the appliance are used.

 WARNING Electrocution

Install the appliance in 

such a way that control 

equipment cannot be touched by 

a person in the bath or shower.

 Material losses

 -Fit the appliance to a verti-

cal wall that is heat-resistant 

to at least 85 °C.

 -Maintain the minimum clearances 

to adjacent objects.

 -Never install the appliance directly 

below a wall socket.

 Note

The power cable must only 

be replaced (for example if 

damaged) by a qualified contractor 

authorised by the manufacturer, 

using an original spare part.

9.1  Minimum clearances

For efficient heating, we 

recommend a clearance of 

300 mm on each side (see details on 

the back of the appliance).

9.2  Installing the wall moun-

ting bracket

Use the wall mounting bracket 

as an installation template and 

mark out the holes to be drilled.

Drill the holes.

f

Secure the wall mounting bra-

cket to the wall with the screws 

and rawl plugs provided.

9.3  Installing the appliance

Guide the two mounting tabs on 

the back panel of the appliance 

into the slots of the wall moun-

ting bracket.

Push the appliance down until 

it is fully hooked into the wall 

mounting bracket.

Secure the appliance at the 

bottom right-hand side with the 

locking screw provided.

connection and installati-

on work in accordance with rele-

vant regulations.

 -Do not install the appliance with 

a fixed power cable.

In the case of a permanent 

connection, the appliance 

must be able to be separated from 

the power supply by an isolator 

that disconnects all poles with at 

least 3 mm contact separation.

 Note

Observe the type plate. 

The specified voltage must 

match the mains voltage.

The appliance is delivered fully wired. 

The following electrical connections 

are permissible:

Permanent connection to an 

appliance socket with earth

If connecting the appliance via a 

socket, ensure that this is easily 

accessible once the appliance 

has been installed.

If connecting the appliance per-

manently, trim the power cable 

so that it leads directly to the 

appliance connection socket. 

Ensure that, after trimming the 

power cable, the appliance can 

still be removed from the wall 

without a problem.
