1  Heating flow connection
2  Heating return connection

There are heating system connections on both the l.h. and r.h. side
of the appliance. You can choose on which side you would like to
connect the flow and return. We recommend connecting the flow
and return on the l.h. side of the appliance.

In its delivered condition, the hydraulic connections are protected
with dummy plugs.

»

Undo the dummy plugs from the chosen connection points.

»

Connect the appliance to the flow and return of the heating
system.

Installing the appliance as a replacement:

If the appliance is being installed to replace an old radiator, the
radiator valve of the old radiator should be removed.

If you do not remove this radiator valve, you must open it fully. The
screw top of the radiator valve should also be removed.

9.4.8  Tightness test

»

Carry out a tightness test.

WARNING

Risk to life through electrocution!

Ensure that the appliance is isolated from the power

supply during the tightness test.

»

Vent the appliance.

9.4.9  Electrical connection

The electrical connection must only be carried out by a qualified
electrician. The terminals are located behind the swing door on
the r.h. side of the appliance.

»

Open the swing door as shown at the beginning of this
chapter.

3  Cable entry for electrical connection

»

Route the power cable through one of the two cable entries
located on the side or back panel into the control panel of the
appliance.

»

Route the power cable through the strain relief.

»

Connect the appliance to the power supply according to the
wiring diagram.

WARNING

Risk to life through electrocution!

When permanently connected to the mains via an

appliance wall socket, ensure that the appliance can

be separated from the power supply with an isolator

that disconnects all poles with at least 3 mm contact

separation. For this, you can use contactors, main

isolators or fuses.

The connection must be made via an RCD with a tripping

current of 30 mA.

!

Risk of damage

Observe the type plate. The specified voltage must match

the mains voltage.

WARNING

Risk to life if installed without an earth conductor.

Ensure that the appliance is earthed!
