4.- TIME AND DATE SETTING
1. Use a screwdriver in order to remove the
cover from the battery compartment.
2. Insert 6 AAA batteries. Make sure to respect
the polarity of the batteries as signaled in the
battery compartment.
3. When the batteries’ power level is below the
minimum operating level, a icon will appear on
the LCD screen and will begin to blink. This
indicates that the batteries must be replaced.
4. If you wish to use a power adaptor in order to power the device instead of
batteries (power adaptor not included with the device), connect it to the corres
-
ponding jack (DC9V).

1. With the decibel-meter powered off, press the MAX button.
2. Without releasing the MAX button, power the device on.
3. The LCD screen will display the current time, and the seconds blinks in the
screen.
4. Use the LEVEL ▼ ▲ buttons in order to increase or reduce the parameter.
5. Press the MAX button once again to set the minutes.
6. To adjust the hour, press the MAX button once. The parameter blinks. Use ▼
▲ buttons in order to make the needed changes.
7. Press the MAX button again in order to adjust the date. Use the ▼ ▲ buttons
to change the parameters, then press MAX button to confirm the selection. (Date
format is: Year, Month, Day)
8. Once you have finished making the adjustments, power the device off. The
changes will now be saved in the memory.
