Power switch in “SCAN” position:
- Press the function button to change the search cable
frequency from simple to double and vice versa.
- Hold the function button for 2 seconds, when LED “VERIFY” turns on, you can
run the DC polarity test. Connect the red alligator to the positive wire and the
black to the negative wire, the “VERIFY” LED will light red.
If the polarity is reversed, the LED will turn green.
Mapping cable indicator
When cable mapping or connecting to a switch
equipment to check the connection status, the LEDs
“1” to “8” will turn on in order.
The LED “G” indicates that the shielded conductor is
connected or that there is no connection.
