ELEMENT PLATE INSTALL

Install the element plates following the drawing below. Use the markings on the boom to position the plates. Place 
the plates on the side of the mark closer to the FRONT of the antenna

 

•

 

Note the orientation of the mounting plate! The plate is NOT symmetrical and must be installed with the wid- 
er spaced threaded holes closer to the center of the antenna.

 

•

 

Use a speed square to position the element plate perpendicular to the boom as shown in the photo below.

 

•

 

Tighten the hex bolts to 

11 ft-lb 

with the torque wrench on the nut side.
