Operation Notes
Charging and operating this unit will be much more reliable if an external USB AC adapter is used as
opposed to powering solely from a personal computer. These are commonly available for smartphones,
tablets and a variety of similar devices. MCM Electronics offers a variety of these devices, and
recommends part numbers 28-19300 or 28-19345. These are readily available at
www.mcmelectronics.com.
Should the Personal Recorder lock up or crash, it may be reset via the small opening in the back. This
is best accomplished by using a straightened paper clip, and inserting into the hole on the rear panel.
NOTE:
This should be done very carefully as the internal switch and surrounding circuitry is
extremely delicate.
For best internal recording results, a Class 4 or above Micro SD card must be used.
