7B - GLASS LOG SET INSTALLATION (Glass Media)

Step 4
Place Glass Media
Fill the top surface with glass beads. Starting in front, place the beads deep enough to slightly cover the top of the burner tube,
obscuring the burner from sight. There will be some ports visible and that is OK. Do not cover the burner more than 1 layer
deep. Figure 7B.5 (Also use Figure 7B.1 for reference)
NOTE: Do not place any beads into the area with the pilot burner. The formed piece of sheetmetal is to keep the beads off the
pilot and off a 1” portion of the burner.
Any remaining beads can be placed behind Logs 1 & 6.
Step 5
Attach Front Grille
Remove the front grille from the packaging and loosen the middle bolt on each side of the grate.

NOTE: Hold the acorn nut still and turn the head of the bolt on the backside to avoid scratching the paint.
Locate the slots on the far left and right side of the chassis. Slip the head of the bolts you loosened behind the slots and lower
all the way down. The switches should line up with the grille opening. Tighten the bolt to secure.
