Fit the guards (2).
Pretension the discharge belt at the tension bearings (3) of
the belt drum.
Machine ready for installation at the place of use in the plant.
Further adjustment of the discharge belt occurs at the place of
use. See section "Adjusting/tensioning the discharge belt".
10.4.2 Adjusting/tensioning the discharge belt
NOTE!
High belt tension!
Material damage.
Tighten the belt just until it is safely driven by
friction.
In the event of high tension and off-track
running:
Reduce tension.
Ensure that belt is evenly tensioned.
Align.

The discharge belt of the over belt magnetic separator is adjusted
in the factory so that it runs centrally and is supplied after a test
run.
Slight deviations from central running may occur during transport
and installation, especially in the event of inclined installation.
To reset central running of the discharge belt, observe the
following points:
Check that both support rollers are parallel to the drive belt
drum.
Align the belt drum parallel to the drive belt drum and tension.
Do not tension the discharge belt too tightly.

Loosen the attachment enough to enable adjustment and so
that it can still just be drawn along by the drive belt drum.
This adjustments are performed with the discharge belt running.
Check the tension and central running of the attachment; if
necessary align.
After a trouble-free test run of at least 20 minutes duration, the
over belt magnetic separator is again ready for use.
