TECHNICAL DATA
The terms „device“ or „product“ are used in the warnings
and instructions to refer to INDUSTRIAL SCALE-30KG 1G.
2.1. ELECTRICAL SAFETY
NOTA
: Le regole di „sicurezza elettrica“ devono essere
applicate quando il dispositivo è alimentato dalla rete
elettrica.
a)
The plug must fit the socket. Do not modify the plug
in any way. Using original plugs and matching sockets
reduces the risk of electric shock.
b)
Do not touch the device with wet or damp hands.
c)
Use the cable only for its designated use. Never use it
to carry the device or to pull the plug out of a socket.
Keep the cable away from heat sources, oil, sharp
edges or moving parts. Damaged or tangled cables
increase the risk of electric shock.
d)
If using the device in a damp environment cannot be
avoided, a residual current device (RCD) should be
applied. The use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric
shock.
e)
Do not use the device if the power cord is damaged or
shows obvious signs of wear. A damaged power cord
should be replaced by a qualified electrician or the
manufacturer‘s service centre.
f)
To avoid electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug
or device in water or other liquids. Do not use the
device on wet surfaces.
g)
ATTENTION! DANGER TO LIFE! While cleaning, never
immerse the device in water or other liquids.

.2. SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE
a)
Make sure the workplace is clean and well lit. A messy
or poorly lit workplace may lead to accidents. Try
to think ahead, observe what is going on and use
common sense when working with the device.
b)
If you are unsure about whether the product is
operating correctly or if you find damage, please
contact the manufacturer’s service centre.
c)
Only the manufacturer’s service centre may make
repairs to the product. Do not attempt to make repairs
yourself!
d)
In case of fire, use a powder or carbon dioxide (CO
2
)
fire extinguisher (one intended for use on live electrical
devices) to put it out.
e)
Please keep this manual available for future reference.
If this device is passed on to a third party, the manual
must be passed on with it.
f)
Keep packaging elements and small assembly parts in
a place not available to children.
2.3. PERSONAL SAFETY
a)
The device is not designed to be handled by persons
(including children) with limited mental and sensory
functions or persons lacking relevant experience and/
or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or they have received
instruction on how to operate the device.
b)
The device can be handled only by physically fit
persons who are capable of handling it, properly
trained, familiar with this manual and trained within
the scope of occupational health and safety.
c)
The device is not a toy. Children must be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the device.
2.4. SAFE DEVICE USE
a)
When not in use, store in a safe place, away from
children and people not familiar with the device who
have not read the user manual.

Device repair or maintenance should be carried out by
qualified persons, only using original spare parts. This
will ensure safe use.

To ensure the operational integrity of the device, do
not remove factory-fitted guards and do not loosen
any screws.
e)
Clean the device regularly to prevent stubborn grime
from accumulating.
f)
The device is not a toy. Cleaning and maintenance may
not be carried out by children without supervision by
an adult person.
g)
It is forbidden to interfere with the structure of
the device in order to change its parameters or
construction.
h)
Keep the device away from sources of fire and heat.
i)
Do not overload the device.
3. USE GUIDELINES
The device is used for precise weight measurement.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from
improper use of the device.
3.1. DEVICE DESCRIPTION

Insert the batteries into the device or connect the
power cord and insert the plug into the socket.
3.
Open the cover.
4.
Press the ON/OFF button.
5.
Wait until the display shows „0“.
6.
Put an object on the pan.
7.
Read the value after a few seconds when the
measurement is stabilized (press UNIT to change the
unit).
CAUTION: The display may show the indicator:
•
„LO“ - informs about a low battery level,
•
„O_Ld“ - informs about overload.
CAUTION
: If the device is not used, it will turn off
automatically after 5 minutes. The device will turn off
automatically only when it is running on battery.
3.2.3. AUTOMATIC LOCK FUNCTION
When the scale is stabilized, the message “hold” will flash
in the upper left corner of the display. If an object to be
weighed is not removed from the pan, the value will be
locked after 6 blinks.
The screen will unlock:
a)
if an object weighing at least 5g is added to the
objects on the pan;
b)
if after removing all objects from the pan, the word
„hold:“ will flash 4 times.
3.2.4. CALIBRATION
1.
Place the scale on an even, stable and hard surface.

Open the cover.
3.
Turn the scale on.
4.
Press and hold „UNIT“ for 6 seconds.
5.
Select the calibration value 2.5 or 10 kg with the
„TARE“ button.
6.
Confirm the choice by pressing the „UNIT“ button.
7.
Place the appropriate weight (according to the value
selected) on the pan. When the (last) reading is
stabilized, the display will show „PASS“.
CAUTION: If the weight becomes unstable or the
calibration is interrupted, the display will show “Err”
and will turn off automatically.
8.
Turn the scale off.
3.3. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Skin contact with the pan may cause corrosion
of the device, therefore it is recommended to put objects
to be weighed on the pan with gloves or, if possible, with
tweezers.
a)
Always unplug the device before cleaning it.
b)
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
c)
Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge
it in water.
d)
The device must be regularly inspected to check its
technical efficiency and spot any damage.
e)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
f)
Do not leave the battery in the device if it will not be
used for a longer period of time.
g)
Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning
(e.g. a wire brush or a metal spatula) because they may
damage the surface material of the appliance.
h)
Replace the batteries when the display shows „Lo“.

3.2. DEVICE USE
3.2.1. CONTROL PANEL
1)
ON/OFF button - used to turn the device on or off
2)
TARE button - used to tare; resets the counter
regardless of a product placed on the pan

UNIT button: used to change the measurement unit
4)
PCS button: used for counting the number of weighed
items
CAUTION: To use the counting function, first press
and hold the PCS button and then press the UNIT
button to select the appropriate number of samples
(25/50/75/100); place the desired number of samples
on the pan and press PCS to confirm; place all objects
on the pan and the display will show the quantity).
3.2.2. WEIGHTING
