Risk of damage!
During operation, the lamella heat ex-
changer generates condensation wa-
ter. Mishandling of the heating pump can
cause damage.
− The bottom heating pump panel serves
as a collecting basin for the condensa-
tion water. Keep the drain valve clean
so that condensation water can run off.
PLEASE NOTE!
Risk of damage!
Independent cleaning of the heating pump
can cause damage.
− Do not use an aggressive cleaning
agent, brushes with metal or nylon
bristles as well as no sharp or metal-
lic cleaning materials such as knives,
hard scraper and the like. These can
damage the surface.
Cleaning
During normal operation, the
lamella heat exchanger generates
condensation water. The quanti-
ty of condensation water varies in
relation to the ambient conditions;
the more moisture present in the
air, the more condensation water
that is generated.
1. Clean the heating pump housing and the fan
grating
6
with a slightly damp cloth
2. Carefully clean the lamella of the lamella heat
exchanger
7
with a dry cloth from the out-
side (see
Figure B
).
3. Remove potential accumulated dirt
on the drain valve
8
so that the
condensation water can run off.
4. Dry the heating pump housing and the fan
grating with a dry cloth.
Maintenance
The following controls can be implemented by
the end user:
− On a weekly basis, remove build-ups of
debris (e.g. leaves) in the proximity of and on
the heating pump.
− Check the integrity of the cable and
connections at least once a month or before
every use.
− Check that the pressure gauge is functioning
correctly
3
.
− Remove potential accumulated dirt
on the drain valve
8
so that the
condensation water can run off.
− Ensure that water hygiene requirements are
fulfi lled. The water test, preferably done every
day, can be conducted with a commercial kit.
The following controls must undertaken yearly
by an approved specialist:
− Check the integrity of the cable connections.
− Check the hydraulic equipment.
− Check and clean the lamella heat exchanger
7
.
− Check the proper functioning of the heating
pump.
− Check the proper functioning of the pressure
gauge
3
.
− Examine potential compressor oil leaks.
Decommissioning during winter
PLEASE NOTE!
Risk of damage!
Mishandling of the heating pump can
cause damage.
− Do not wrap the heating pump with
plastic fi lm or similar material. These
could cause heat and moisture build-
up on the inside.
− Switch the heating pump off and disconnect it
from the power supply.
− Operate the stop valves and release the
pressure from the hydraulic equipment.
− Protect the lamella heat exchanger
7
and
the fan
6
from debris.
Recommissioning in spring
− Remove the potentially present protections.
− Pressurise the hydraulic equipment. Operate
the stop valves.
− Check the chemical composition of the water.
− Re-establish connection to the power supply.
