Phase 1 - Assembling a Worksurface to
the Beam with a Standard 1" Gap
NOTE: For worksurfaces that are installed tight to the
beam, follow the steps below except hook the tether
brackets to the beam before attaching the worksurface
to the brackets.
NOTE: Worksurfaces require support from low storage
units, and
NOT from tether brackets alone.
NOTE: Worksurfaces can be installed and removed
beneath 48" high mid-storage units for 1" gap
applications.
CAUTION: Worksurfaces MUST ALWAYS maintain a
1" MINIMUM GAP to a height adjustable desk.
1.
Inventory and stage all worksurfaces, tether
brackets and lower storage units.
2.
Attach two or three tether brackets to the underside
and back edge of the worksurface, five inches from
each end, and in the center per the table below.
Diagonal pilot holes are provided for 1" gap
applications.
