If Heating Indicator Light does not illuminate when power cord is plugged in, unit is not
operating normally. Immediately turn unit off and disconnect from power supply, then refer to
troubleshooting guide on Page 14 of this manual for assistance.

Always unplug power cord when unit is not in use.

Do not use unit outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used, or where
oxygen is being administered.

Unit is only meant to be used with recommended SF-246 accessories. Using other types of
attachments may cause damage to unit or injury.

When filling Boiler, only distilled or de-mineralized water should be used in unit, in order
to minimize potential build-up of mineral deposits. Other cleaning agents could damage unit or
cause injury. Do not overfill unit.

Do not attempt to use steam without first properly filling Boiler.

To reduce risk of contact with hot water emitting from steam vents, check appliance before each
use by holding Main Steam Nozzle away from body and pressing Steam Trigger. Do not
operate unit if steam vents are blocked.

Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam. Do not touch Main Steam
Nozzle or attempt to connect or remove attachments while unit is in use. Do not turn unit
upside-down - it may contain hot water.

When steaming any surface or item for the first time, it is recommended that you consult the
manufacturer’s guidelines for material being steamed. For surfaces/items in question, test on an
inconspicuous area before proceeding.

Do not allow power cord to touch hot surfaces during use. Wrap cord loosely around unit when
storing.

To avoid burns from escaping steam when removing Boiler Cap to refill unit:
• Always allow unit to cool for 5-10 minutes.
• Press and hold Steam Trigger to release all remaining steam.

Always allow

to cool completely (at least 30 minutes) before
cleaning or storing.
