Turn the bearing (5)  180° upwards in order to remove it.

-

Loosen the 4 screws (11) of the half-bearings (1), (12).

-

Remove the 2 half-bearings (1), (12).

ATTENTION

The half-bearings are paired and must not be mixed up.

Position lifting tool on the cam shaft (11):

•

Position the part (16) of the lifting tool under the cam shaft (11), on the side opposite the
drive gear and pinion.

•

Tighten the screw (15) in the cam shaft (11), drive gear and pinion side.

-

Adjust the lifting tool to the size of the cam shaft (11) by the handle (14).

-

Remove the cam shaft using the lifting tool in the direction of the arrow F1.

ATTENTION

Place the cam shaft (11) being careful not to damage the cam running surfaces.
