Terminal Alignment
5.2.1 Automatic Satellite Communication Terminal (FL30P-E)
NOTICE
Rotate the adjustment knobs slowly during the antenna pointing.
1. The display indications for antenna adjustment are described in Table 5-2-1-1. The following
abbreviations are used: EL – Elevation (Up and Down), AZ – Azimuth (Left and Right), POL –
Polarization (Clockwise and Counter Clockwise).

2. When
EL is displayed for the first time an automatic, coarse adjustment of antenna’s Elevation
angle is performed (Figure 5-2-1-1). The corresponding values are represented on the right side
of the display. (
Ref = Reference value, Cur = Current value). LOCKED , followed by the sign □
indicates, that the terminal is still not aligned to the satellite. LOCKED , followed by the sign ■
indicates, that the terminal is aligned to the satellite.
